to website or not website?

Welcome to our very first blog post.

OK, I've been in front of my laptop for about 38 and a half hours now... well, not all at once, but over a period of a few days. My glasses have left a permanent dent in my nose. My feet are hopelessly and irretrievably asleep, there's a kink in my right shoulder blade, and I'm just about cross-eyed.
Been trying to build us a website, all the while wondering if I'm either in over my head, or simply wasting my time, or both. I'm working with 2 different html editing programs just to see if I can actually do it. No, the programs don't translate from one to the other, so in truth we have 2 poteential websites. Either way, it sure is a lot of work, even if it is the kind of work I like, in a weird nerdy way.  
So my question to you - my friends, customers and peers - would you use a website, or an online catalogue? 

It doesn't mean things will change in the store - except maybe we'll be a bit busier with packing and shipping online orders, and unpacking larger shipments from suppliers.
But your benefits would be pretty cool - your local art supply store would potentially carry more stock. You could browse from home and make shopping lists at midnight, and we could have it all ready for you next day.
